I placed an order and paid for the License plate holder that is listed on this site on the 15th & to date I have not gotten any shipping info. Also sent an email with no response. Any suggestions? It is through registry market place.
They refunded my money, but I really wanted the license plate holder. I will look elsewhere I guess.

Unless you already have, I would post this under racing ..... but I think you will be fine. I am sure your not the first GT350 to run that track.

@  G3012 : (26 October 2017 - 06:54 PM)

I have had my Metallic GT350 for a little over a year now, and love to drive it. The mountains of Northern CA (Napa, Sonoma, Lake and Mendocino counties) are a drivers dream. I also went to Utah for the 2 day school that was way too much fun. I now am planning on some track days out here in the west, but must meet their sound limits. Sonoma and Thunderhill have a max of 103db, while Laguna Seca are as low as 94 some days. How loud is this monster? Has anyone had any issues on track days for noise? Has anyone been to Sonoma or Thunderhill with their GT350 and had any issues? Thanks for the help,

@  smokum : (24 October 2017 - 03:24 PM)

Any current production car its hard to tell if it will be a collectible or not. I honestly don't see that with the GT350. I dont think it will affect value since it was a warrantied item. Its unfortunate that this is happening but you are getting a new engine which is the right thing to do with Ford. I don't think Ford will replace the car. I suggest if you want a better sample of opinion to start a thread in the appropriate section

@  tedstefaniw : (24 October 2017 - 10:17 AM)

Hey members, would like some Opinions. I purchased my 2016 GT350 late march this year from Levittown Ford NY. I was getting some serious engine knocking noise when starting the car. Had it in the dealer three times, first in July to get it checked, they couldn't diagnose. after keeping the car for days. 2 weeks ago car lost almost all the oil, due to the Oil filter backing out! Most likely due to the excessive engine vibration(rods/lifters?). Destroyed my driveway and my Jobs parking lot. Finally this last time they told me I need a new long block! No problem thay will order new engine. My gripe is I want a new car, I didn't pay over sticker for the best Mustang ever built to get a engine replacement after 6 months. Not to mention , if I ever want to sell the car what this would do to it's resell value. Opinions please?

I bought a used 2017 with 2600 miles for $56,000 minus trade.  Sticker was about $60,200.  He would deal a little on my trade in but wouldn't go below the $56k.  Prior owner traded in on an R model.

I have been watching prices nationally and regionally since late spring 2017.  Smokum is correct.  As soon as Ford announced they were going to built a quantity of 2018 GT350's and hold the GT500 release as a 2019 model, the prices have been coming down.   Regions with real winter approaching (I'm from Florida and we look forward to our winters!) saw the steepest decline.   I have seen 2017 GT 350's with the 900A package advertised with in the mid-west for $ 3000-$4000 off MSRP.   (When you dig into the details, most have $ 999 dealer packs or such - so factor that and the travel expenses in!)

I worked a deal in central Florida for $ 2000 under MSRP for a 2017 with an MSRP of $ 60.895.   The same dealership had a 2018 R coming in the same week and had a deal written for $ 15,000 over MSRP.   I wouldn't even consider that unless I was trying to flip the car.

I paid 57,7 for mine, MSRP $60,895. Made them figure all sales tax into what they gave me for my trade in, so out the door at $30k exactly.

When it comes to the price you pay for a GT350, a lot has to do with color and options that you want plus location.

If you find "the" car with everything you want relatively close by your more inclined to pay a tad more for it than to

travel a 1000 miles and figure away to get the car home

Couldn't agree more, I wanted the convenience pkg for the seats(they were the same ones that were in my 16 GT/CS) but, was having a difficult time finding one within 1000 miles of me. I "settled" if you will...for the Recaros. However, this car is an absolute blast to drive, and the seats are not terrible. I just kept telling myself for the price it should have power seats at least. First world problems.....

Seems Sticker is becoming more common. It will be curious to see what the 18's bring especially considering the production run by Ford is almost cut in half

Bought mine brand new in late October for $1.2k under sticker ($60,420 MSRP) way out in Alabama, good guys out there. According to the window sticker, the car was ordered in February and delivered in March, and it hadn't moved since. I saw that it was sitting and knew I had to jump on it.  Electronics Package, Shadow Black, I love her!! :D

IN MY PERSONAL HUNT/PURCHASE EXPERIENCE:

- Florida wanted at least a few thousand if not 5k over sticker.  Still sending me emails about the car, though!

- Georgia was willing to deal but you had to make compromises (different color, racing stripes, agree to their terrible gap insurance, etc).

- Virginia dealers were willing to sell at sticker, possibly a few hundred under sticker.

- NJ/NY dealers are stubborn morons. Last I checked there were a few GT350s that had been sitting for over 3 months but the dealers wouldn't budge. One even told me they would prefer to "auction it off" before dropping the price that much ("that much" being sticker or slightly under sticker). Now when a dealership from NJ calls I just text the salesmen pics of my new Shelby. Conversation stopper! :D

- Leather seats are tough to find on the East Coast unless you order them. Took me about 1000 miles to adjust to the Recaros but I am okay with them.

That is the what one should look for .... a car thats been sitting for a long time where as the dealer is motivated to sell it

Good find first of all and great deal ... congratulations !!!
