I changed dead battery in 2008 Shelby, now my instrument cluster is not working correctly. No fuel indication , no oil pressure indication,no blinkers or 4 ways(indication). All lights work but don't indicate. Did I blow a fuse, does the computer need reset??

Anybody know if 66 350 H came in white with gold stripes? I always thought they only came in black with gold or white with blue. The one I've got is white with gold. I did a bare metal strip and repaint and if it was a repaint I can't tell. It's also got a Paxton on it. I freshened it up, forged pistons and rods, cam. shaft mounted Jesel roller rockers, etc. It's dynoing about 585, and I love driving it. It's gonna get me in trouble. Thanks, if anybody knows about the paint.

They refunded my money, but I really wanted the license plate holder. I will look elsewhere I guess.

I bought a spare kit for my 2014 GT, but they were not staggered wheels. So since I bought the GT350 I don't feel comfortable taking it on a long trip with no spare. If there is a really bad tire problem that fix-flat won't fix anything.

Anyone know of a spare kit. I called the dealer and she said she could not find one. I was thinking of buying a wheel and tire to fit.

Any suggestions?

The overall diameter for the front tire is 27.1", and the rear is 27.4", so if you can find an aftermarket spare with the correct bolt pattern, it should work, but make sure it fits in the trunk well. Ford does sell a spare tire kit, part # FR3Z-1K007-C, for the mustang. It has a disclaimer "not for cars originally equipped with summer only tires or 20" wheels. Our cars are equipped with summer only tire, but this would be better than nothing in a pinch.

And you are correct, there are some things fix-a-flat wont fix. I hit a pothole in the Bronx in '12 mustang and all the fix-a-flat in the world was not going to fill up a tire with a 10" gash in it. Luckily I was on the highway and got picked up by a tow truck, that was waiting near the pothole :) , he took me to a shop he knew just off the highway. The shop didn't have a garage, he just dropped me at a parking meter in front of the shop. In less than 15 min, and about $60 I had a reasonable used replacement tire on my car and I was on my way. I was lucky it could have been much worse.

Thanks for the part number. It does fit the GT350 now. I had a spare for my 2014 GT Premium. When I first bought the GT350 the spare did not say that it fit. So good, i will buy one.

I'd think the Torsen wouldn't be too happy with running rear tires that aren't the same diameter.

Part # FR3Z-1K007-C  does NOT fit. After reading this thread and checking fitment online (confirmed that it now states it will fit) I ordered this spare tire kit. I pulled my front wheel to verify before putting it in the trunk. It does NOT clear the brake caliper. A wheel spacer would not help as the inside diameter is not sufficient.

Several people in the GT500 community looked at the same scenaro and the fronts are easier on the GT500 to fit

That cant be said for our beloved GT350's

With the 6 piston brembo calipers it makes finding a spare that will fit in the trunk is very tricky indeed

I hope it works but make sure the dealer knows that this is for a GT350 and if it doesnt you expect a full refund

DITTO  ...... personally to get a rim to clear the front caliper and fit in the trunk and still have usable room left over is a tall order in deed.

Personally dont think ford makes a kit and that a rim and tire to clear the front rotor .... heck .... would it even fit in our trunks ?

Ok, I'm not a tire slime fan at all so...aside from asking how the above worked out (??) on the "spare" that fits the front AND in the trunk...I'll ask the dumb-guy question...is there a spare (like from Ford) that will fit for a short period on all four wheels and NOT fit in the trunk? OR...am i smarter (given that it looks above like the spare is 250 anyway) to just buy another (no, not carbon fiber!) wheel and tire and leave it sitting in the garage? Don't really care if it goes in the trunk because I don't do long trips but I don't really want to watch someone pull mine onto a roll back at 2 am with all the ground effects; heck, I rub leaving my driveway. LOL. It looks above like someone discounted the part number originally posted so I'm wondering how all that washed out. Happy spring.....let em roll boys.

These cars Im sure arent easy to flat bed ..... already thought of that. First you can defintily get a wheel and tire combo to work but its just going to sit in the trunk on the carpet. It wont look pretty

The GT500's had similiar issues and what people did is they get the smaller rim and if they had a flat on the front ... they would take a rear rim off and put it up front and take the smaller wheel for the rear ..... much easier to fit the rear than the front but much more work too

i drive back and forth from time to time to Miami or Tampa ..... those are about 3 hour jaunts. The question is on a long trip how often do we get flats ..... rarely

If someone found a rim and tire combo that worked it would have to be pretty massive and take the whole trunk space

Just FYI to follow up with the captioned post....the ad certainly says all the right stuff BUT they're not open sale just yet. Looks like 339 will be the price point for the set up including a jack. See the link:

If anyone nabs one, the feedback will save a lot of pain. I'll do likewise if I'm first.

I researched several wheel and tire combos for a spare. I used a Magnetic Style Charcoal Wheel(black wasn't available at the time) 19x8.5 from American Muscle with a Nitto 225/45R19 tire(27" diameter). they advertise the wheel will fit the GT350, but it doesn't quite clear the front caliper. There is clearance with a 5mm spacer on the front,no issues on the rear. I decided to use a larger 8mm wheel centric/hub centric spacer for a little more clearance( a 20" AM wheel will probably clear w/o a spacer). It fits in the spare tire well ok. I lost about 1 1/2 inches height in the trunk . I used a LLoyd trunk mat to replace the spare well hard cover so it looks good and you really don't lose much trunk space. If you decide to do something like this, keep a heavy towel in the trunk to cover the panels an weatherstrips while removing and replacing the tire. The road tires will fit in the trunk, but there is no room left for "stuff"

I recently purchased my 2017 GT-350 and was wondering if anyone has come up with a working solution for a spare tire.  Any guidance would be appreciated.

I just dont see that happening. A spare to fit all four corners would be huge.

What some GT500 guys did is get a spare that just fits the rear and take a rear tire and put it up front ..... but with the GT350 dont recall if the offset is different

Another point of interest is the GT500 wheels were all the same size which made things easier

Lots of issues getting a spare for the GT350 to fit in the trunk
