Hello All! I have a 2017 GT350R chassis HR687. Does anyone have the final breakdown on the 2017 production number totals and production of each specific model and option pkgs yet? Ford SVT told me there were 942 R's made and about 6000 GT's. Also, what is a good street tire to run on an R since no other company makes the R rear tire size? Can I run the front tire size on the rear of the R? I have seen phohot of guys running the 325-30-19 on the rear but it looks too large for the wheel well. I wanted to go with the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S. Thanks!

@Biggest for a 2017 anything between 5 and 10 over is a good price but you'll have tough time finding the color you want. Popular color/stripes combo can easily go for 15/20 over. I'm not sure if I would even try to buy a 2018. Being the last production year I'd be surprised to see anything below 20 over sticker. My advice is to be patient and keep calling around all over the country. I got mine at 7 over sticker out of pure luck. Every single dealer that I spoke with before finding mine would not go below 15. All you need is one lucky situation where they are trying to get rid of it

@  panzer69 : (29 January 2018 - 01:15 PM)

yeah i agree with that, my dealer is selling his 60k above

IF YOU FOUND A GT350R AT MSRP ITS PROBABLY ALREADY SOLD TO SOMEONE ELSE .... JUMP ON IT ... DO NOT PAST GO DO NOT COLLECT $200

@  Biggest : (27 January 2018 - 10:10 AM)

Hey Guys, im new to this forum(registered now) Can any of you give me an idea of what a good price for a new 2017 Gt350R is? I have one on hold in New Jersey, Black with white stripe and electronic package, MSRP is $68020, I have not found one at MSRP so my question is whats a good/decient price on a 2017? Thanks

I've had mine on from the 550 mile mark. Checked twice at 1,550 and 2,550 miles 1oz each time. Ford Performance M-766-A50 pass side.

Got a general question on the air oil seperators. I want to install at least the one at the passenger side.

But I saw some sidenote on a shop which said that when you install these you are not fullfilling some California regulations anymore.

So do you guys only use these if you are on track or also on daily driving?

If you're a warranty worry wart, these items are a no tool, 10 minute install/removal; at least the important one (right side)...just yank it off before you go to the dealer for something.  Highly doubt a dealer would give you grief over this item, and that's assuming the idiots there even noticed it in the first place.  The left one is only of benefit on the track, but I've never heard of anyone taking them on and off.  There's just no reason to do that.  I'm not in CA, but if I were, I'd run mine 24/7/365 and never lose a wink of sleep over it either.

Never heard of anything like that and I don't see how oil/air separators could cause issues with CA regulations. If anything, they collect oil vapors and oil condensation that can later be safely disposed instead of potentially burning inside your engine.

As for the warranty, as long as you are installing Ford Performance parts you're ok. I asked this question to both FP and Galpin Ford here in LA,

Yeah I'm in CA and my mechanic warned me that my car might not pass smog inspection with these cans installed. Don't care, I want what's best for the health of the engine. Come smog cert time if it doesn't pass then I'll tell him to disconnect and then reconnect after it passes.

Again, I'm not a mechanical engineer but it really doesn't make sense to me. If you want to play it safe just disconnect the pipes before you smog it. It takes 10 seconds and a screw driver and you don't even need to remove them completely

^ yeah I don't know why it effects emissions but it does..

Agreed that there is no need to uninstall the cans, but I believe the stock hoses would need to be reinstalled for the smog test, from what I saw during the install it would probably be about a 15 min process. No big deal.

Extremely easy.  In fact, I don't recall needing any tools.  I'm sure you did your own homework, but I decided money for the left separator was better spent elsewhere.  Don't think I've heard of a single person getting anything out of it except under the most extreme racing/track conditions.

Thanks Galaxy, yeah I planned on racing the car monthly for auto cross and a few track days every year, so I figured I would do it all at the same time, just in case. I'll update this thread after a few months to see if I catch some oil in there.
