I placed an order and paid for the License plate holder that is listed on this site on the 15th & to date I have not gotten any shipping info. Also sent an email with no response. Any suggestions? It is through registry market place.
They refunded my money, but I really wanted the license plate holder. I will look elsewhere I guess.

Unless you already have, I would post this under racing ..... but I think you will be fine. I am sure your not the first GT350 to run that track.

@  G3012 : (26 October 2017 - 06:54 PM)

I have had my Metallic GT350 for a little over a year now, and love to drive it. The mountains of Northern CA (Napa, Sonoma, Lake and Mendocino counties) are a drivers dream. I also went to Utah for the 2 day school that was way too much fun. I now am planning on some track days out here in the west, but must meet their sound limits. Sonoma and Thunderhill have a max of 103db, while Laguna Seca are as low as 94 some days. How loud is this monster? Has anyone had any issues on track days for noise? Has anyone been to Sonoma or Thunderhill with their GT350 and had any issues? Thanks for the help,

@  smokum : (24 October 2017 - 03:24 PM)

Any current production car its hard to tell if it will be a collectible or not. I honestly don't see that with the GT350. I dont think it will affect value since it was a warrantied item. Its unfortunate that this is happening but you are getting a new engine which is the right thing to do with Ford. I don't think Ford will replace the car. I suggest if you want a better sample of opinion to start a thread in the appropriate section

@  tedstefaniw : (24 October 2017 - 10:17 AM)

Hey members, would like some Opinions. I purchased my 2016 GT350 late march this year from Levittown Ford NY. I was getting some serious engine knocking noise when starting the car. Had it in the dealer three times, first in July to get it checked, they couldn't diagnose. after keeping the car for days. 2 weeks ago car lost almost all the oil, due to the Oil filter backing out! Most likely due to the excessive engine vibration(rods/lifters?). Destroyed my driveway and my Jobs parking lot. Finally this last time they told me I need a new long block! No problem thay will order new engine. My gripe is I want a new car, I didn't pay over sticker for the best Mustang ever built to get a engine replacement after 6 months. Not to mention , if I ever want to sell the car what this would do to it's resell value. Opinions please?

I would love to be the lead salesman on on of these puppies! I bet they make $10K  plus on the sale! I assume the floor sales managers get to be the folks selling them?

These type of vehicles with huge adm fees most stores that I have worked at will cap the commission at some level and not pay a salesman on the full bump and profit margin.

The dealership pay structure-

1. Owner

2. GM

3. Main Finance guy

4. Sales Manager

5. Floor sales man

I would concur

This said, it be nice to pay a salesman on the whole bump .... why shouldnt they ?

Thats my feeling but most dealer principals feel otherwise

Being a X drag racer I wanted this car. It is by far the sickest production car ever made. I just can't justify $100,000 for a car..Or wife won't approve it LOL

Totally agree on $100K for car that basically would only be used once a while- too pricey. The GT350 could be a daily driver in places without snow/ice. I plan on putting 6k to 10k miles per year on my car and enjoying it almost every day...

But isn't pricing relative ?     11 years ago in Aug of 06 I ordered my 07 GT500 and paid with tax over $50,000

Thats alot money today and a ton of money back than and than when you factor  income being less than what I am making now even

a more of a huge purchase

So here we all our buying a $60,000 - $70,000 car (dependent on your deal) and the demon is $30000 away ..... is it really that much more expensive and

truly out of our reach if we wanted one?

my 02 cents worth

Good points, Smokum.  We make the best choices we can at the time.  Considering current and potential future financial situations, we jump. . . or not.  Past pricing doesn't matter; it's water under the bridge.  Future?  It's just a guess.

I figure I can't drive dollar bills and I can't take either dollars or the Shelby with me.  The purchase wasn't going to gum up my plans, so I jumped and didn't look back.  Sure, I paid a moderate ADM.  But I've had the car for almost a year now and I'm still grinning.

They say money can't buy happiness.  But money can buy a Shelby and that IS happiness!

Mine is a daily driver and needs to be detailed ...... filthy but still get tons of compliments

Got pissed off though a few days ago when I went to Carrabaas for a dinner pick up. Parked in the designated area

and a few minutes the sprinklers kick in ( 7pm ) and starts getting my car wet with well water.

Worse part is I didnt notice it until the car was drenched ..... now I have water marks on it too !!

I bitched about it and got some free gift cards .... I'd rather have a car with no water marks on it

I betcha mine is even filthier!  Fine coat of dirt on it, back window is disgusting. Front window almost as bad. Brake dust all over the wheels.  Needs a good vacuuming.  But... I drove it to work again today.  Just love the car too much to be overly embarrassed about driving it in its current state of filth.  We've been having a nice fall; warm sunny days and cool nights.  Truly sucky weather is on its way and I'll park the GT350 for a while.  Might as well enjoy the dirty thing while I can.  Gotta get one good detailing in before I park it for the winter, though.
