I've read 4000 or 4500RPM for launch, but anything more than your tires can grip and traction control will shut you down anyway!

Am I correct in saying that the 2016 GT350s all came with an engine builders plate on the right side of top of the engine?  It'd be about 3" X 5" affixed to a special area on what appears to be part of the plastic airbox or something system just forward to the Monte Carlo brace.

The reason I ask is because I've heard that they all did...and guess what?

MINE DIDN'T!   :rant2:   :swear:

In the area where I think it would go I see what appears to be a worm-crawl of adhesive.

Mine either missed it at the factory, fell off during shipment or somehow fell off after I took delivery.

I appreciate your help in determining the reality.

You are correct. There should be a plate with an engraved signature of both engine builders on it. They build the engines on the niche line at Romeo engine plant. They work in teams of two and then sign the plate at completion.

Thanks, Don!  And thanks to MustBD2.

I was able to get a replacement Builders' Plate!  Something the dealership (Jordan Ford in San Antonio) couldn't or wouldn't do.

Ford came through!

My 2016 Shelby GT350 is WHOLE once again!
