Hello All! I have a 2017 GT350R chassis HR687. Does anyone have the final breakdown on the 2017 production number totals and production of each specific model and option pkgs yet? Ford SVT told me there were 942 R's made and about 6000 GT's. Also, what is a good street tire to run on an R since no other company makes the R rear tire size? Can I run the front tire size on the rear of the R? I have seen phohot of guys running the 325-30-19 on the rear but it looks too large for the wheel well. I wanted to go with the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S. Thanks!

@Biggest for a 2017 anything between 5 and 10 over is a good price but you'll have tough time finding the color you want. Popular color/stripes combo can easily go for 15/20 over. I'm not sure if I would even try to buy a 2018. Being the last production year I'd be surprised to see anything below 20 over sticker. My advice is to be patient and keep calling around all over the country. I got mine at 7 over sticker out of pure luck. Every single dealer that I spoke with before finding mine would not go below 15. All you need is one lucky situation where they are trying to get rid of it

@  panzer69 : (29 January 2018 - 01:15 PM)

yeah i agree with that, my dealer is selling his 60k above

IF YOU FOUND A GT350R AT MSRP ITS PROBABLY ALREADY SOLD TO SOMEONE ELSE .... JUMP ON IT ... DO NOT PAST GO DO NOT COLLECT $200

@  Biggest : (27 January 2018 - 10:10 AM)

Hey Guys, im new to this forum(registered now) Can any of you give me an idea of what a good price for a new 2017 Gt350R is? I have one on hold in New Jersey, Black with white stripe and electronic package, MSRP is $68020, I have not found one at MSRP so my question is whats a good/decient price on a 2017? Thanks

My wife these days keep's me on a tight leash. I spent probably close to $15,000 in HP additives and appearance additives on my GT500 that was

traded in on the GT350

I wanted those red calipers real bad that the R has and all of sudden I realized i had all these go fast parts that I had to take off my GT500 in order to

trade it in, so contacted some people from the "fordgt500" forum and BOOM sold, got a quick $3000 and I was on my way to Ebay for my new parts !!!

good points! I better make sure I keep my GT350 if I sink in some big bucks. Wife still wants a Corvette- she even ask me what I thought of the 2019 ZR1 model. OMG that car is amazing thus if am considering buying it I better not do any upgrades on my GT350 since it will have to go...

ZR1....  The last GM car I had was a '69 GTO in high school.  For a ZR1, I'd consider going to the "dark side."  The 'vette guys at work would give me a ration of crap, though.  At least until they found it to be a ZR1.  Then they'd probably bow.

When I said only GM car I would buy ... to put it in a better context I was referring to new models only. Some of the old stuff would appeal to me

the Chevelle SS with the cowl induction scoup that was vacuum operated ... nice car

I bet that ZR1 would be very dangerous on wet roads compared to the GT350's. Those cup tires don't have a lot of tread on them. The GT-350R would have a tough time in the rain as well.

Damn and I thought I was done buying stuff for the car. Thanks for the heads up. I personally didn't want the Ford logo on mine as well. Plus the strut tower brace custom paint is a good one as well!

so I just ordered a set of wheel caps off eBay

Q: what is the proper way to remove the stock caps?

is it best to remove the wheel and pop them out from the inside?
