Hello All! I have a 2017 GT350R chassis HR687. Does anyone have the final breakdown on the 2017 production number totals and production of each specific model and option pkgs yet? Ford SVT told me there were 942 R's made and about 6000 GT's. Also, what is a good street tire to run on an R since no other company makes the R rear tire size? Can I run the front tire size on the rear of the R? I have seen phohot of guys running the 325-30-19 on the rear but it looks too large for the wheel well. I wanted to go with the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S. Thanks!

Thanks guys, I was able to get a New 2018 Black with White Stripes for 5k over

@Biggest for a 2017 anything between 5 and 10 over is a good price but you'll have tough time finding the color you want. Popular color/stripes combo can easily go for 15/20 over. I'm not sure if I would even try to buy a 2018. Being the last production year I'd be surprised to see anything below 20 over sticker. My advice is to be patient and keep calling around all over the country. I got mine at 7 over sticker out of pure luck. Every single dealer that I spoke with before finding mine would not go below 15. All you need is one lucky situation where they are trying to get rid of it

@  panzer69 : (29 January 2018 - 01:15 PM)

yeah i agree with that, my dealer is selling his 60k above

@  smokum : (29 January 2018 - 11:11 AM)

IF YOU FOUND A GT350R AT MSRP ITS PROBABLY ALREADY SOLD TO SOMEONE ELSE .... JUMP ON IT ... DO NOT PAST GO DO NOT COLLECT $200

@  Biggest : (27 January 2018 - 10:10 AM)

Hey Guys, im new to this forum(registered now) Can any of you give me an idea of what a good price for a new 2017 Gt350R is? I have one on hold in New Jersey, Black with white stripe and electronic package, MSRP is $68020, I have not found one at MSRP so my question is whats a good/decient price on a 2017? Thanks

Roughly 56,000 for the Shelby package on top of the 42,000 MSRP, AND 25,000 dealer mark up

The ADM is the killer!  I figure one Ford Performance comes out with a S/C for our GT350's I will have Ford install it and that should  bring me around 800 HP with 0-60 in 3 seconds and maybe a 10.9 Quarter mile.  The cost of the S/C kit plus labor should be around $12K thus total costs for my 2017 GT350 plus the S/C  would be less than $80K. That is an affordable 800 HP car...

The only concern I have on a SC kit on the GT350 is VMP wont offer them and they own a GT350.

BJ told me that Ford engineers told him that these motors dont do well under boost .... longevity wise

I do too ...... but want to wait and see the health report on the current generation of GT350s that are supercharged/turbo'd and see how they are holding up.

I didnt mind maxing the hp on my GT500 and spending over $6000 to get there. A block is under $8000 and a tranny u can get for about $3500

Not free but a figure if I had to come up with is more manageable than the GT350 block prob closer to $20,000

Even with the supercharger (FI) if you don't track her often than I highly doubt we have anything to worry about.

sure you can- add in the track package like they did with the 2017 GT350's.  I've heard about the sales folk telling people that they could track their 2016 without the track package- well, as you know they were wrong!
