Hello All! I have a 2017 GT350R chassis HR687. Does anyone have the final breakdown on the 2017 production number totals and production of each specific model and option pkgs yet? Ford SVT told me there were 942 R's made and about 6000 GT's. Also, what is a good street tire to run on an R since no other company makes the R rear tire size? Can I run the front tire size on the rear of the R? I have seen phohot of guys running the 325-30-19 on the rear but it looks too large for the wheel well. I wanted to go with the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S. Thanks!

I hit enter to quick. Where are the best locations for a jack and subsequent jack stands?

@Biggest for a 2017 anything between 5 and 10 over is a good price but you'll have tough time finding the color you want. Popular color/stripes combo can easily go for 15/20 over. I'm not sure if I would even try to buy a 2018. Being the last production year I'd be surprised to see anything below 20 over sticker. My advice is to be patient and keep calling around all over the country. I got mine at 7 over sticker out of pure luck. Every single dealer that I spoke with before finding mine would not go below 15. All you need is one lucky situation where they are trying to get rid of it

@  panzer69 : (29 January 2018 - 01:15 PM)

yeah i agree with that, my dealer is selling his 60k above

TIA

BTW these cars ROCK...my last Shelby was a 2007 5.4 Supercharged V8 and the handling of the GT350 BLOW it away!!

Don, your lips to God's ears :)  Feels like my 2007 GT 500 saga all over again, was produced and released then took another 45 days to ship to my dealership!!  My GT350 was released on 9/12/17 and has been sitting in the "Awaiting Shipment" queue ever since...frustrating for sure!!  Stated delivery date is 10/06/17 but no way that's gonna happen as I'm 2300 miles from Flint Rock....:(

My first GT500 was a experience I will never forget.

The GT500 in 2006 has a lot of hype. I ordered mine in August of 2006. It was built in Nov and delivered to the rail yard in Tampa Fl on Dec 6 at 7 am

I had to get special permission from our Ford Zone rep and the dealer I worked for to actually get the car at the yard myself. Had a dealer trade guy drive my up,

and dropped me off. Showed all my papers and got a golf cart ride with rows and rows of new cars of all types, not just fords all wrapped in protective bubble wrap.

Finally after a few minutes of a golf ride zipping through rows of new cars I saw this red mustang with the distinctive red stripes and that was the first I saw my car

WHAT A EXPERIENCE ..... one I will never forget.

Had my plate with me and had it put on. Than went to a local gas station, cleaned the car up, gassed it up and drove home

What a GREAT drive !!!!
