Hello All! I have a 2017 GT350R chassis HR687. Does anyone have the final breakdown on the 2017 production number totals and production of each specific model and option pkgs yet? Ford SVT told me there were 942 R's made and about 6000 GT's. Also, what is a good street tire to run on an R since no other company makes the R rear tire size? Can I run the front tire size on the rear of the R? I have seen phohot of guys running the 325-30-19 on the rear but it looks too large for the wheel well. I wanted to go with the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S. Thanks!

I hit enter to quick. Where are the best locations for a jack and subsequent jack stands?

@Biggest for a 2017 anything between 5 and 10 over is a good price but you'll have tough time finding the color you want. Popular color/stripes combo can easily go for 15/20 over. I'm not sure if I would even try to buy a 2018. Being the last production year I'd be surprised to see anything below 20 over sticker. My advice is to be patient and keep calling around all over the country. I got mine at 7 over sticker out of pure luck. Every single dealer that I spoke with before finding mine would not go below 15. All you need is one lucky situation where they are trying to get rid of it

@  panzer69 : (29 January 2018 - 01:15 PM)

yeah i agree with that, my dealer is selling his 60k above

IF YOU FOUND A GT350R AT MSRP ITS PROBABLY ALREADY SOLD TO SOMEONE ELSE .... JUMP ON IT ... DO NOT PAST GO DO NOT COLLECT $200

Hey Guys, im new to this forum(registered now) Can any of you give me an idea of what a good price for a new 2017 Gt350R is? I have one on hold in New Jersey, Black with white stripe and electronic package, MSRP is $68020, I have not found one at MSRP so my question is whats a good/decient price on a 2017? Thanks

I purchased the new Ford Performance shift ball and can't seem to get the stock shift knob off. I am turning counter-clockwise by hand, but it won't come off. Only able to get about a 1/8 turn so far. Is there some trick to taking them off???

Most likely it has Loctite on the threads.  Some heat on the knob or shift lever could help loosen it.  Do you have a blow dryer you could use?

I quickly installed a CJ Pony parts knob on mine.  I really like the ball instead of the goofy knob our cars come with.  Did the same on my Tacoma when I bought it in '14.  I put a TRD ball on it in short order.

Probably goes back to my childhood.  I had a '69 GTO with a Hurst shifter.  And of course, a ball for a shift knob.  Call me a throwback.  Go ahead!  Do it!

You're welcome, Smokum!  As to the camera.... it was just my iPhone.  Lighting and composition go a long way in photography.
