Hello All! I have a 2017 GT350R chassis HR687. Does anyone have the final breakdown on the 2017 production number totals and production of each specific model and option pkgs yet? Ford SVT told me there were 942 R's made and about 6000 GT's. Also, what is a good street tire to run on an R since no other company makes the R rear tire size? Can I run the front tire size on the rear of the R? I have seen phohot of guys running the 325-30-19 on the rear but it looks too large for the wheel well. I wanted to go with the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S. Thanks!

@Biggest for a 2017 anything between 5 and 10 over is a good price but you'll have tough time finding the color you want. Popular color/stripes combo can easily go for 15/20 over. I'm not sure if I would even try to buy a 2018. Being the last production year I'd be surprised to see anything below 20 over sticker. My advice is to be patient and keep calling around all over the country. I got mine at 7 over sticker out of pure luck. Every single dealer that I spoke with before finding mine would not go below 15. All you need is one lucky situation where they are trying to get rid of it

@  panzer69 : (29 January 2018 - 01:15 PM)

yeah i agree with that, my dealer is selling his 60k above

IF YOU FOUND A GT350R AT MSRP ITS PROBABLY ALREADY SOLD TO SOMEONE ELSE .... JUMP ON IT ... DO NOT PAST GO DO NOT COLLECT $200

@  Biggest : (27 January 2018 - 10:10 AM)

Hey Guys, im new to this forum(registered now) Can any of you give me an idea of what a good price for a new 2017 Gt350R is? I have one on hold in New Jersey, Black with white stripe and electronic package, MSRP is $68020, I have not found one at MSRP so my question is whats a good/decient price on a 2017? Thanks

I noticed on Shoutbox a month or so ago when someone asked this question but can't find an answer on the forum - where does Shoutbox go when a question is answered?  Notice a wire going to the underside of the hood intake scoop along with a sensor - what is this for?

Its just a quick way to see a question or statement from a member. It doesn't really go anywhere else.

and for the wire I really dont know either ..... never paid attention to it. I googled it and the only thing that came up was this one post from you

You know Don I thought the same thing since its just a wire attached to an aluminum hood. But it doesn't appear to go any where and looks like how a ground wire would attach. Maybe Ford was going to put something there and changed there mind. Now you got my curiosity up. I know you work at a dealership so maybe you could do some in depth checking and let us know what you find. While your at it if you don't mind, I've posted before that as far as I know they added one more speaker to the 2017's verses the 2016's but yet the 2017's on the lower dash below entertainment center have the word SHAKER. We know we don't have a sub amp and in the past on the Mustang if you had a SHAKER then you had a power butt kicking sub amp etc. I do assume we don't have the sub to save weight.

I have read that it is only to prevent the plastic piece from becoming a projectile....
