Hello All! I have a 2017 GT350R chassis HR687. Does anyone have the final breakdown on the 2017 production number totals and production of each specific model and option pkgs yet? Ford SVT told me there were 942 R's made and about 6000 GT's. Also, what is a good street tire to run on an R since no other company makes the R rear tire size? Can I run the front tire size on the rear of the R? I have seen phohot of guys running the 325-30-19 on the rear but it looks too large for the wheel well. I wanted to go with the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S. Thanks!

@Biggest for a 2017 anything between 5 and 10 over is a good price but you'll have tough time finding the color you want. Popular color/stripes combo can easily go for 15/20 over. I'm not sure if I would even try to buy a 2018. Being the last production year I'd be surprised to see anything below 20 over sticker. My advice is to be patient and keep calling around all over the country. I got mine at 7 over sticker out of pure luck. Every single dealer that I spoke with before finding mine would not go below 15. All you need is one lucky situation where they are trying to get rid of it

@  panzer69 : (29 January 2018 - 01:15 PM)

yeah i agree with that, my dealer is selling his 60k above

I have one on hold in New Jersey, Black with white stripe and electronic package, MSRP is $68020, I have not found one at MSRP so my question is whats a good/decient price on a 2017? Thanks

Hi everyone,

I tracked my R a couple times and now I really feel the need to run some negative camber. I know that the recommended track settings are -1.75 in the front and -1.25 in the back. Does anyone know if I can obtain those settings with stock suspensions or do I need camber plates?

Since no one seems to be able to give a definitive answer on this (including Ford Performance) I purchased Maximum Motorsports plates along with all the necessary hardware. This Friday I'll take the car to Galpin Auto Sports where they will first try to get the recommended track alignment without the plates. If they'll be unable to do it with stock suspensions then they'll install the plates. I'll report back once the car is ready.

Just got a call from GAS. The car is ready, they had to install the plates. I'll try to go pick it up today and I'll report on the details once I speak to them.

So basically they told me that they could have gotten the track alignment with minimal drilling but the suspension would have pushed against the strut towers all the time. Under long periods of time under stress the pressure could compromise the suspensions so plates are recommended. By the way, the car look even meaner now.

No it wasn't lowered, however from the side you definitely notice the negative camber. It gives the car a nice stanced look

Went to the AAA Speedway for a track day on Saturday. The Cup2s are now cooked for good but boy does the track alignment make a difference. On that track you get to use part of NASCAR oval and one of the banked turns at 110/120 mph. The car was flat. You could feel the down force pushing the car down. I have videos, I'll post them when I have a moment. In the meantime, I'll leave you with this eye candy. My car gets a lot of attention at track events, but this guy totally stole the show.

So with out putting a plate we can't adjust the suspension on our GT350?

You can adjust the suspensions on the GT350 and I'm pretty sure that you can get the track setting without any mods. I've heard of some people with GT350s that were able to get the track specs with stock everything, others said that could get within 5% of the track setting without mods but they fixed this by simply swapping the original bolts with smaller ones. On the R it is a different story...
