Hello All! I have a 2017 GT350R chassis HR687. Does anyone have the final breakdown on the 2017 production number totals and production of each specific model and option pkgs yet? Ford SVT told me there were 942 R's made and about 6000 GT's. Also, what is a good street tire to run on an R since no other company makes the R rear tire size? Can I run the front tire size on the rear of the R? I have seen phohot of guys running the 325-30-19 on the rear but it looks too large for the wheel well. I wanted to go with the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S. Thanks!

@Biggest for a 2017 anything between 5 and 10 over is a good price but you'll have tough time finding the color you want. Popular color/stripes combo can easily go for 15/20 over. I'm not sure if I would even try to buy a 2018. Being the last production year I'd be surprised to see anything below 20 over sticker. My advice is to be patient and keep calling around all over the country. I got mine at 7 over sticker out of pure luck. Every single dealer that I spoke with before finding mine would not go below 15. All you need is one lucky situation where they are trying to get rid of it

@  panzer69 : (29 January 2018 - 01:15 PM)

yeah i agree with that, my dealer is selling his 60k above

@  Biggest : (27 January 2018 - 10:10 AM)

Hey Guys, im new to this forum(registered now) Can any of you give me an idea of what a good price for a new 2017 Gt350R is? I have one on hold in New Jersey, Black with white stripe and electronic package, MSRP is $68020, I have not found one at MSRP so my question is whats a good/decient price on a 2017? Thanks

Anyone have any experience or feelings about doing the optional "Track Alignment" on the GT350 (the one shown in the manual supplement) ?

Does it really make a difference on the track ?

I want to keep the track alignment full-time, and was told by Ford Performance that it would not be an issue (other than some excess inner tire wear and more sensitive steering on the street)...

I started a topic about this in the racing section. I ran the track setting during my last track day and the difference was really noticeable with tires at 20/30% and on a track that I did not know very well. I'm going to my favorite track next weekend, I'll report back.

Forgot to report back about this. I went to two more track days after my previous post. After spending an entire day with track alignment on one of the tracks that I know best I can tell you that it's really a big difference. You can take fast tight corners and long sweepers 10/15% faster with the right alignment.

A month later I went to another track day at a different track and I met a gentlemen with a GT350 that was running -2.25 in the front and -2 in the back and he said he loved it. He was slow as s*** so I don't know if he's a reliable source of information but I might try -2 in the front and -1.75 in the back for my next alignment.

What about the daily drive ability on the street with that setup Giulio?
