Hello All! I have a 2017 GT350R chassis HR687. Does anyone have the final breakdown on the 2017 production number totals and production of each specific model and option pkgs yet? Ford SVT told me there were 942 R's made and about 6000 GT's. Also, what is a good street tire to run on an R since no other company makes the R rear tire size? Can I run the front tire size on the rear of the R? I have seen phohot of guys running the 325-30-19 on the rear but it looks too large for the wheel well. I wanted to go with the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S. Thanks!

Thanks guys, I was able to get a New 2018 Black with White Stripes for 5k over

@Biggest for a 2017 anything between 5 and 10 over is a good price but you'll have tough time finding the color you want. Popular color/stripes combo can easily go for 15/20 over. I'm not sure if I would even try to buy a 2018. Being the last production year I'd be surprised to see anything below 20 over sticker. My advice is to be patient and keep calling around all over the country. I got mine at 7 over sticker out of pure luck. Every single dealer that I spoke with before finding mine would not go below 15. All you need is one lucky situation where they are trying to get rid of it

@  panzer69 : (29 January 2018 - 01:15 PM)

yeah i agree with that, my dealer is selling his 60k above

Hey Guys, im new to this forum(registered now) Can any of you give me an idea of what a good price for a new 2017 Gt350R is? I have one on hold in New Jersey, Black with white stripe and electronic package, MSRP is $68020, I have not found one at MSRP so my question is whats a good/decient price on a 2017? Thanks

I ran across a reliable you tube video who's information in the past has been correct.

This video is primarly on the new GT500 being released in 2019. But about the 3.57 mark in the video, its referring to motor options available

in 2019 for the mustang line. Whats omitted is the voodoo motor.

If this pans out to be true, that means the GT350's run is over in 2018, time will tell. All I know is I got mine and thats all I care about. But if it is true the adms for unsold 2018 will be high

and I think helps our resale value for being a limited production model.

Articles Ford are letting trickle out show the GT 500 coming in 2019 with a 5.2 (not voodoo engine flat plane crank) supercharged 750hp. So more than likely 2018 is end of GT 350.

Correct ...... the 5.2 motor mentioned for the GT500 is the predator motor. The Voodoo motor really wasnt designed for boosting as I understand it.

Didnt buy it for that wag but a nice side benefit none the less !

The more I talk about this on other venues .... IE the facebook GT350 members area, most agree 18 is it for the GT350

The more I think of it Ford doesnt want to have two high profile cars that they have to build and spends gobs of time on it  IE the GT350 and the the GT500

They only will want to build one and thats going to be the new GT500

Maybe or maybe not only Ford knows for sure. The GT500 is supposed to be released in 2019 (not sure which month)  as a 2020 model. There are articles on the internet which state that the future plans for engine model production do not include the Voodoo for 2019, so there may be no Shelby model (350 or 500) for the 2019 model year. I drove by a dealer recently here in Richmond BC (a suburb of Vancouver BC) and the dealer had 6 GT350s on the lot!  That was not the case in 2016 & early 2017. Perhaps the supply and demand equation for GT 350s is out of equilibrium and there are more GT350s available than there are buyers. Ford may have determined that the GT350 has saturated the  current market demand and therefore will cease production. They will be introducing the GT500 which ups the ante with the most horsepower of any Ford vehicle ever produced for street legal driving.

Does anyone know what the GT350 production figures are for 2015, 2016 and 2017? I believe that for 2015 Ford produced 37 GT350Rs and 100 GT350s.

When I was at SEMA in November I spoke to a Ford marketing guy and he told me that the figures on this forum for the 2016 production are not correct. He stated that  there were over 6,100 GT350s produced and I believe he said over 500 GT350Rs for the 2016 model year.

Sherwood Ford in Edmonton has at least 20 GT350's. Leftover 16's and new 17's. 17's were $82,000 msrp and are selling for 72.000.

Thats probably why they have so many

If you look around you can get a GT350 for MSRP or less. As most know I traded my GT350 back in to the dealership I work at and bought back my

07 GT500. In my opinion the 07 GT500 model will be a easier car to maintain and drive

Will it be as fun? Hell No !!

The GT350 is probably the nicest car I have ever owned but the 07 model is special to me since I bought one brand new .... ordered it from the factory

got a little more info on the GT500 for 2019. She red lines around 7,000 RPM and might go up to 770 HP- higher than the Hellcat but not as much as the demon.

Yes and No ....... I did spend money on it but it was money from the sale of my Go fast parts from the GT500.

No it didnt brake

This has been on mind for some time. Though I make pretty good money in my position that will all change when I retire.

Rule was from the wife, that my car would have to be paid off in full for me to retire and since I financed the whole amount it was going to take some time.

The GT500 that I traded in had lowering springs .... tons of cosmetic mods done to it and all I took off the car to make it eligible to be traded in was the

to take off the go fast parts and I returned the car back to its stock HP numbers.

The owner who bought it knew how much I still liked the car and he called me advising me he was going to sell it and if I would be interested in buying it back.

I had actually begun to look for a clone of that GT500 thinking that the GT500 I traded in would never be available and so the owner who bought the

car from our store he and I worked the deal out for me to buy it back.

I had the dealership buy the GT500 back from the guy and I traded my GT350 in.

Instead of a $800 payment at $44000 I now have a $240 payment at $12000 and will be able to pay off the GT500 probably within a  year

Allows me to still have a great car and Shelby and retire alot sooner. Plus the old tech GT500 will be easier on the pocketbook for repairs

and tire replacement

Now thats what I call a pretty engine bay  !!

It Does look awesome Smokum.

No,  I was just surprised, you really seem to love your GT350. I understand why you did it for sure, the GT500 will be an amazing retirement car.

I bought mine with only 2 years ownership in mind, but who knows, I really enjoy it right now, I might end up keeping it longer.
