Hello All! I have a 2017 GT350R chassis HR687. Does anyone have the final breakdown on the 2017 production number totals and production of each specific model and option pkgs yet? Ford SVT told me there were 942 R's made and about 6000 GT's. Also, what is a good street tire to run on an R since no other company makes the R rear tire size? Can I run the front tire size on the rear of the R? I have seen phohot of guys running the 325-30-19 on the rear but it looks too large for the wheel well. I wanted to go with the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S. Thanks!

@Biggest for a 2017 anything between 5 and 10 over is a good price but you'll have tough time finding the color you want. Popular color/stripes combo can easily go for 15/20 over. I'm not sure if I would even try to buy a 2018. Being the last production year I'd be surprised to see anything below 20 over sticker. My advice is to be patient and keep calling around all over the country. I got mine at 7 over sticker out of pure luck. Every single dealer that I spoke with before finding mine would not go below 15. All you need is one lucky situation where they are trying to get rid of it

@  panzer69 : (29 January 2018 - 01:15 PM)

yeah i agree with that, my dealer is selling his 60k above

Hey Guys, im new to this forum(registered now) Can any of you give me an idea of what a good price for a new 2017 Gt350R is? I have one on hold in New Jersey, Black with white stripe and electronic package, MSRP is $68020, I have not found one at MSRP so my question is whats a good/decient price on a 2017? Thanks

I have seen a few GT350's on the road but here in SW FL its rare, even for a regular run of the mill GT350.

Now a R ....... forget it. In the year and 1/2 I owned my GT350 I never ever saw a R in person.

Well I did yesterday. A gentleman came into our store with a very tasteful looking R all in black with no stripes.

Very very sharp car. He bought the car in Orlando but lives here and stated he only paid a few thousand over MSRP.

What a deal .... just have a hard time believing that. And too boot it wasnt a 17. This was a 18 !!!

Here are some picts !!

The only R I’ve seen in person was at a dealer. The only 350 I’ve seen on the road was a random pass grabber blue going down the freeway one day. Used to be black one in my town, but haven’t seen him in forever. I think I’m the only one around my immediate area with one at all.

None around here either!  I've seen a few on dealer lots, but never on the road.  I've seen a couple tarted up GTs, though, that have GT350 wheels, splitter and spoiler.  An initial "aha, finally!" but it doesn't take long to see them for what they are.

Fact!  Ironically, no posers around here either.  I will humbly admit (and this probably in part because of what the car is and the lack of them around), I enjoy the car being a hit everywhere I go.  You typically literally get the reception a Lamborghini or Aston Martin or some other exotic would get.  My biggest joy is probably driving around and totally notice folks rolling down their windows for the sheer purpose of listening to me go by!

The car brought a lot of attention for sure. When I bought my first GT500 new and picked it up in Dec of 2006 same experience from passerby's probably more.

That car at that time in history garnered a lot of attention
